Moms may watch from backstage or in a designated spot in the theater. They will need to “pick up” students from backstage and bring them back to the dressing room. Moms will remain in the dressing room with their class until all dancers are picked up.

Time commitment 45 mins before the show Please plan and plan on staying 15 mins after the show (to allow parents time to get back stage to get their dancer).

Important: Volunteer spots will be on a first come first served basis. In order to give everyone an equal opportunity, please volunteer for your dancer’s class only by Sunday, April 30th. After that date we will open up volunteer position to other DCA moms. Volunteers will not need a ticket for the performance for themselves.
  2. Room Monitors – We will need some moms to oversee a the level 1 classes who don’t need much supervision but still need an adult keeping an eye on them. Moms will help bring kids to the stage and wait with them until they go on. Moms may watch from backstage or in a designated spot in the theater. They will need to “pick up” students from backstage and bring them back to the dressing room. Moms will remain in the dressing room with their class until all dancers are picked up.

Time commitment: 45 mins before the show (all parents are supposed to arrive half an hour before the show starts and we need all volunteers in place before parents begin to arrive ). Please plan and plan on staying 15 mins after the show (to allow dancers time to be picked up).

Important: Volunteer spots will be on a first come first served basis. In order to give everyone an equal opportunity, please volunteer for your dancer’s class only by Sunday, April 30th. After that date we will open up volunteer positions to other DCA moms. Volunteers will not need a ticket for the performance for themselves.
